Red Boiling Springs is a small town that was once world-famous as a mineral springs resort.  At one time, there were over 20 hotels, and people came from around the world to enjoy the "healing" mineral water.  Today, there are three hotels remaining, and each is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Red Boiling Springs is a charming place to step back in time, enjoy some good country food and just relax a little!

This web site documents all of the tourist attractions in the area.  It starts at Interstate 65 and goes east through Portland, Westmoreland, Lafayette and Red Boiling Springs.  Then it heads south from Red Boiling Springs through Carthage and down to Interstate 40.
